Through the lens of her dead grandmother’s old photo negatives, Ida Scheel works with remembering in a physical space — creating the atmosphere of a family member who is no longer here.
REMEMBRANCE (2024) embodies grief, while allowing the person beneath the veil of photo negatives to remember the presence of a forgotten time.
